• Arbitration award 2023 -- Awarded 100% of damages requested plus all fees in favor of the client-homeowner against licensed contractor who used unlicensed floor subcontractor

Crumpton v. Davis, Jury Trial, Alameda County Superior Court

• Plaintiff claimed TBI from accident on Bay Bridge and asked jury for $960,000. I recommended an award between $50,000 and $75,000. Verdict: $100,000

California Cypress v. History & Heraldry, Bench Trial

• Defended Tenant in $1.4 Million claim by landlord. Complete defense verdict and recovery of litigation and expert costs under 998.

Confidential Binding Arbitration

• Defended Winery owner in suit brought by co-owner claiming mismanagement and fraud. Arbitrator awarded ZERO to co-owner and finding of no wrongdoing.

• Defended General Contractor on claims by homeowners asking for $600,000.00. Recommended award of $65,000.00. Arbitrator awarded $93,000.00.

Paganini v. Richardson, Jury Trial

• Defended General Contractor sued by real estate investors for negligence and fraud in a $900,000.00 claim. Pre-trial 998 Offer of $100,000. Jury awarded only $11,500.00.

Lee v. Golden State, Jury Trial

• Defended General Contractor in Wrongful Death claim. Jury found only 22% fault on our client GC which was $550,000.00. Plaintiffs’ lowest demand to GC was $1 Million.

Berry v. Blue Northern, Binding Arbitration

• Defended General Contractor in $600,000.00 construction defect and mold claim. Complete defense verdict.

Dobson v. Hobbs, Jury Trial

• Defended Lawyer in Legal Malpractice action. Plaintiff asked the jury for $1.6 Million. Complete defense verdict.
